Uses and applications: Model of economic flows in the distribution of products
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED
A multinational corporation in the industrial and logistics sector needed to optimize its asset protection process and identify possible illegitimate uses of its product by its customers.
PREDIK Data-Driven developed a specific methodology tailored to the characteristics of the client, which consisted of modeling and understanding the economic flows between the company, its clients and third parties involved in the distribution process of its products.
Through the model developed, it was possible to identify the points in the process where there is a greater probability that the client’s products will be used illegitimately.

METHODOLOGY AND DATA USED
For the design and implementation of this simulation model, the PREDIK DataDriven team of data scientists resorted to a wide variety of data sources, both primary and alternative, public and private, as well as the client’s own information.
Advanced data mining and machine learning techniques were used in the creation of the methodology.
